Bare necessities

Best lyric:
"And don't spend your time looking around for something you want that can't be found, when you find out you can live without it and go along not thinking about it."

One of my earliest all-time memories is of my sister and me dancing on the bed to this record until my mom stormed in telling us to knock it off. Of course we didn't, and a laugh-riot was had by all.

Jungle Book was my first talking-animal movie, which is the only movie genre that I've stayed interested in (and probably the only genre that's improved over time). But this is gold-standard stuff here.

@Lodo, this song is totally on my ipod and I totally dance my bootie off and try to get my dog to dance with me. And it _is_ gold standard stuff at least in my book.

...I'm not sure how you spell bootie...booty...bootay... When not used to describe pirate loot, is it even a word?

That's great a philosophy! I love the junglebook, especially when they start singing "I Wana be like you". Disney songs are the best to dance to! :D

OP: I could stand to be reminded of that almost everyday. :-)

I love this song and have recalled it often--but I forgot how much fun the animation is! Love that back-scratching scene :)
