Drama Queen
Called my father today at work. He answered the phone in a tone of voice that conveyed all was not well. I asked him if it was a good time. He said, and I quote "the world is falling down around me" and that he would call me later. I hung up the phone and smiled. He can be so dramatic. My mother is the antithesis of drama. She described her contractions when she had my sister as simply "uncomfortable." And my father, surrounded by the trappings, deadlines, pressures and irritations present in every single line of work finds the world disintegrating at his feet. I sure do come by it honestly, this flair for drama.

Funny he would use those exact words--I was just thinking about Chicken Little yesterday and how often we run into people who act the same way!
