*Cough* *Cough*

It's 1 am. This nose turned faucet announced the invaders early this morning by waking me out of sound sleep to sneeze. It was the weirdest thing to me. I think that was a first and I do hope it will the last time I am pulled from my slumber by a violent sneeze. I blew my nose and convinced it was a sign that I DID need an air purifier, went immediately back to sleep. As the day progressed, it became increasingly apparent that it was actually a cold and now it is 1 am and I'm still debating whether to come to work late, or just not go at all. It's a nuisance cold right now. I can't go 2 minutes without doing my baby elephant imitation and my throat is a bit irritated but no fever/chills so I could probably come in, share the wealth a little and when I felt like I had infected enough people, go home early. A few weeks ago during the swine flu non-demic, the security folks started wearing face masks and gloves until someone complained that it was freaking every one out. I should probably stay home for the sake of everyone who might freak out if their nose started running.

I hope you stayed home...sometimes it helps just to take a day, relax and do nothing.
